The Ithaca softball team beat Rochester 7-2 to capture the regional title and advance to the College World Series for the 7th time in the past 10 years. In Plattsburgh, Cortland State also won the regional title, beating Endicott 3-1 to advance to the College World Series in Salem, Virginia.
