When Apple Computer announced in June that it planned to move to Intel chips, one of the companies left in the lurch was Terra Soft Solutions. This week, Terra Soft is announcing it has filled some of the void created by Apple's move.

The popularity of Apple Computer's iPod digital music players is helping it sell more Macs, but so far it hasn't been enough to spark a rise in the company's share of the personal computer market.

Users of Apple Computer's Mac OS X Tiger are soon to receive a handout from the Cupertino, Calif-based company - a new software update to the operating system that will offer increased stability and some performance enhancements.

Apple Computer on Tuesday released Mac OS X 10.4.7 , a maintenance and security update to its Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger operating system. The update is recommended for all users and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes for [some] applications and technologies.
